It’s official: The Conservation Law Foundation has agreed to drop its lawsuit against developer Jon Cronin in exchange for $13.1 million in funding for a public dock, a waterfront park, and children’s programming.
The environmental group challenged Cronin’s plan to replace the Whiskey Priest and Atlantic Beer Garden with a 22-story, 124-unit condo tower, over concerns about public access to the waterfront.
The lawsuit was the last hurdle for Cronin to clear in order to realize this plan, one he’s been trying to realize since 2016.
So say goodbye to the Atlantic Beer Garden and Whiskey Priest—while you still can.
